Your microphone audio never leaves your device

The app uses your microphone to read your breath in real time. That audio is analysed on your phone, on the spot, and is never recorded to a file, never stored, and never uploaded anywhere. Nobody — including us — ever hears it.

This is the core of how the app is built: the sound of your breath is processed live to produce a calm reading, then it is gone. There is no recording to leak, sell, or lose.

The breath numbers the app saves

When you finish a session the app saves a few breathing numbers — your before/after calm readings, breath rate, exhale strength, rhythm, and a timestamp — to our hosting database (Supabase, in the EU). It never saves the audio itself.

If you are not signed in, these numbers are stored without anything that identifies you, and your personal trend is kept on your own device. If you are signed in (see below), your sessions are also saved to your account in the cloud so your trend can sync across your devices and survive reinstalling the app.

Accounts (optional)

You can use the app without an account. If you want your progress to sync across devices, you can create an account with Google or with an email and password.

When you create an account we collect your email address (and your name, if your Google account provides it) to run your account, and we link your saved sessions to it so we can show you your own history. We do not use this to advertise to you, and we never sell or share it.

Sign in with Google

If you choose Google sign-in, Google handles its own part of the sign-in under Google's Privacy Policy. We receive only your email address and basic profile (name) from Google — nothing else from your Google account.

Delete your account and your data

You can permanently delete your account and all of your saved sessions at any time from inside the app — open the home screen and tap Delete account.

This removes your account and every session linked to it from our database, and cannot be undone. You can also email us and we will delete it for you. Signing out (without deleting) simply ends the session on that device and keeps your cloud history for next time.

No advertising, no cross-app tracking

We do not use third-party advertising SDKs or analytics that track you across other apps and websites. We collect no precise location, no contacts, and no advertising or device identifier.

If you join the launch list

On this website you can voluntarily give us your email address to hear about Tagmac Wellness. That email is used only to contact you about Tagmac Wellness, is stored privately, and is never sold or shared. You can ask us to remove it at any time by emailing us.

Children

The app is intended for general adult wellness use and is not directed at children under 13.

Not a medical service

Tagmac Wellness is a wellness and self-awareness tool. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical condition, and it is not a medical device. The calm reading is a relative, within-session indicator, not a clinical measurement.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
