Your microphone audio never leaves your device
The app uses your microphone to read your breath in real time. That audio is analysed on your phone, on the spot, and is never recorded to a file, never stored, and never uploaded anywhere. Nobody — including us — ever hears it.
This is the core of how the app is built: the sound of your breath is processed live to produce a calm reading, then it is gone. There is no recording to leak, sell, or lose.
What the app does send
The app sends a small set of anonymous numbers — your before/after calm readings — to our database so the app can show the session worked. It never sends anything that identifies you.
When you complete a session, these values are saved to our hosting database (Supabase): the calm/stress score, breath rate, exhale strength, rhythm measure, a timestamp, and a randomly generated session ID. There is no name, no email, no account, no contact details, no precise location, and no advertising or device identifier attached. The records cannot be traced back to you.
No account, no tracking
You do not create an account to use the app. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs to track you across apps or websites. Your session history (your personal trend) is kept on your own device, not on our servers.
If you join the launch list
On this website you can voluntarily give us your email address to be notified when the app launches. That email is used only to contact you about Tagmac Wellness, is stored privately, and is never sold or shared. You can ask us to remove it at any time by emailing us.
The stethoscope link
Some pages may include an affiliate link to a stethoscope. If you click it and buy, we may earn a small commission from the retailer (e.g. Amazon) at no extra cost to you. We do not receive your purchase details — only the retailer processes the sale.
Children
The app is intended for general adult wellness use and is not directed at children under 13.
Not a medical service
Tagmac Wellness is a wellness and self-awareness tool. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical condition, and it is not a medical device. The calm reading is a relative, within-session indicator, not a clinical measurement.
